We strongly advise against using an analog thermometer. For precise temperature measurements, opt for a Digital Thermometer instead.

Reptiles have unique heat requirements for optimal health — for instance, the ideal temperature for a bearded dragon can be harmful to a crested gecko. Therefore, it’s crucial to keep track of the conditions inside your reptile’s habitat using a reliable thermometer.

The Exo Terra Analog Thermometer can be conveniently attached to the inner wall of your reptile’s enclosure, allowing for easy monitoring of the surrounding air temperature.

Note that this thermometer is not designed for assessing basking temperatures. If you need to measure basking areas in your reptile’s habitat, we suggest using a digital probe thermometer available at shop.morphmarket.com.

Installation Guide:

Peel off the protective backing, clean and dry the surface thoroughly, and firmly press the thermometer onto the desired spot. Position it on the warmer side to gauge the average heat there, or on the cooler side to monitor the lower temperature range.

Avoid placing it close to or directly beneath a heat source like a bulb.
