The Battery Doctor 30200 Fuse Tap Kit provides a clean way to add a new circuit to a vehicle or piece of equipment that uses AGC round glass fuses. Each tap clips onto an existing fuse inside the fuse block and exposes an additional connection point that accepts a slip-on terminal, so a new accessory can draw power without cutting or soldering the original wiring. The retail kit includes 3 fuse taps and 6 slip-on terminals. Installing the tap on the cold end of the fuse slot shares the protection of the existing fuse with the new circuit. Installing the tap on the hot end provides direct power and should be paired with an additional in-line fuse sized for the new circuit.
